Mumbai & Rajasthan
Mumbai's grand hotels, then the palaces of Rajasthan: Udaipur's lakes and Jodhpur's fort city.
Plan IndiaWe reply to every inquiry within one business day.
What we'd tell you
- October to March is the window. The monsoon runs June to September.
- At the Taj Mahal Palace, choose the Palace wing for the history and the Tower for the view.
- Udaipur and Jodhpur pair well: a lake palace, then a fort city, with a scenic drive between them.
The one thing most people get wrong
Most people try to cover Rajasthan by car in a week. The distances are longer than they look, so choose two cities and fly or take the train between them.
